Computerized posturography is a force plate that can record the position and variation of the center of gravity in a very precise way. This test allow to see if someone is suffering from any vestibular imbalance or decreased proprioception.
It is especially useful for people with poor balance, dizziness, vertigo, or compensation pattern after injury. Once the balance deficits identified, it can then be retrained using the force plate by adding tasks and rehabilitation exercises.
